When I copy any text from Pages to Publisher …

If you have Pages you must be a Mac user! Which version of macOS do you have installed?

All you can say is that it’s Chinese. Mandarin and Cantonese sound different but they’re written the same way.

I believe that when you copy from Pages it's just formatted text, it doesn't have a language, regardless of the document's language setting.

When you paste into Publisher it will become whatever language is in use at the point you paste it in. So, what language is in use at the cursor (insertion point) before you choose Paste?

Hi Yogesh Chandratre,

Is this an issue that is new in the 2.1 beta?

Are you able to attach a video showing the behaviour you're getting and a copy of the corresponding Pages document please? I'm able to paste text from the Pages Sample CV document without any issues.
