I am using a game that uses UV mapping and OpenGL 2.  It uses .tga graphics.  I can take an existing/working .tga file and downsize it from 4096x4096 to 2048x2048 in two other applications and it in-game works (like normal).  When I downsize the .tga in A Photo and export, then the .tga in the game is rearranged on the in-game graphics model.  It looks literally like the UV mapping was rearranged, but I know that is not the case.  The UV mapping cannot change.  The difference is the .tga file.

Any idea on how I can export the .tga file so that it works like the .tga's from my other two apps.

The graphic in this case is: Uncompressed.  No Alpha.  When I compare the binary files (what works and A Photo version), there are real differences, yet the file size is the same (12289 kb as it should be).

Also, if I open the A Photo exported "broken" .tga file in the other two apps, the image does display correctly.  So the issue is all about how the A Photo .tga image is written and then how it is the read into OpenGL.

Thanks for any input/help here.

Which 2 applications are these?

Without full details of the other software in use, this will be very hard to replicate and investigate further.

They are: Photoshop (all versions past 20 yrs, up to newest) and Paintshop Pro (old version, not Corel).

@snash, Can you upload the original tga file, along with the one exported from Affinity, the one exported from Photoshop and also the one from Paintshop Pro to our Dropbox here https://www.dropbox.com/request/20YyraS1W9jLI2fOJ4Ea if you could also include a screenshot of how the Affinity exported tga file appears in the game and one showing how it should look, that would be a big help :)

Did this get looked at by dev people?  I'm still interested in a license, but this tga item is critical path for me.  Thanks.
