Welcome to the Forums!

Can you do a screen recording (Shift - Cmd - 5) and upload that here and if possible can you upload an example CR2 file that has this problem so that we can repeat the steps you are doing.

I downloaded your CR2 file and it Develops and opens fine on my 2017 MacBook Pro (Intel), running OSX 13.2.1. So, it appears your CR2 file is okay. Try changing some of your Performance Settings, such as hardware acceleration, and see if that helps.

Also, I am on Photo v2.0.4...I'm not sure what version you are using.

Here are my Performance settings. You may want to try clicking on the "Display" dropdown menu and selecting a different option. When I select "Metal" the Hardware Acceleration is not grayed out. Try a few settings to see if any help.
