Branlid Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 Hi. How can i fill a shape without rasterizing it? If i rasterize and the fill it looks horrible with gaps close to the lines? Quote
Alfred Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 Use the Gradient Tool, not the Flood Fill Tool. You can choose between different types of fill via the controls on the Context toolbar. Branlid Posted April 7, 2023 Author Posted April 7, 2023 That doesnt work here. Its not a single shape, its many lines that i have formed into letters. I have grouped each letter. It seems impossible to fill that. Quote
Alfred Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 You can only fill a closed or unclosed curve, not a collection of lines (regardless of whether they’re grouped or not). Choose the Node Tool and use the ‘Join’ option on the Context toolbar to join adjacent pairs of lines, and then optionally close the resultant curve. Branlid Posted April 7, 2023 Author Posted April 7, 2023 But whats happening here? Is there a maximium node reached? For this E one line gets thrown out… Quote
Alfred Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 You have two end nodes that are only slightly overlapping (instead of being coincident) but that shouldn’t prevent you from joining that vertical line onto the rest of the E.
