Paul Rotschi
Some dng images are not as bright in Affinity Pro 2 as in Adobe Camera Raw? Below are the two screen dumps, the image was not modified, image was taken with 24MG Pixel iPhone 14 Pro Camera. Also tried to edit the image with Affinity Pro 2, was unable to apply edits to the image to increase the brightness/vibrant? Any help would be appreciated? TY! Staff Dan C Posted April 6, 2023 Staff Share Posted April 6, 2023 Hi @Paul Rotschi, I can confirm the differences shown are due to the presence of the 'Apple ProRaw' colour profile within Camera Raw - currently Apple have only made this profile available in a few Raw editors, such as Camera Raw and not to Affinity at this time. This means that when developing your Raw files in Affinity, the 32/bit RGB profile is used instead and can cause the image to typically display underexposed or desaturated when compared directly. We hope that Apple will provide this profile to Affinity in the future, so we can better represent iPhone Raw photos. I hope this clears things up!
