Affinity Suite in VMware VDI Environment

Hello everyone,

We in the company use Affinity Suite 2 (Photo, Design and Publisher ) in VMware VDI environment with windows 10.
We have found that all three applications close unexpectedly whenever a document is created/opened.
To solve this problem it is necessary to disable the " Hardware Acceleration" option.

But , I cannot configure the default settings for all users in VDI environment such that this option is disabled.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi @Pikmins,

Welcome to the forum

To enable OpenCL on a VMware environment you will need to have a OpenCL GPU on the host machine and be running VM Sphere and the in the VM configuration enable the PCI passthrough option to allow the host GPU to process the OpenCL requests.

I solved the problem.
I basically had to create separate rules in DEM for each Suit Affinity application.
Now everything is working properly.
