I want to be able to move an Object constrained only Vertically or Horizontally, and not Diagonally.

There used to be a panel in which one could select those Constraints for shift-dragging an Object. The Keyboard Shortcut is described as:

Constrain the movement of an object horizontally, vertically or diagonally ⇧-drag

Alas, I cannot find such a panel anymore; anybody can point me to it?  Or has it been removed?

As far as I know there has never been a panel like that in the Affinity applications. Perhaps you're thinking of a different application?

Hi @jochoalions,

As above, I'm not personally aware of any setting or panel that changes the Shift constraints when moving an object on your canvas - this will always constrain the transform to vertical/horizontal/diagonal from the original objects position.

I hope this clears things up!

Perhaps you are thinking of the Grid and Snapping Axis dialog with the Advanced or Cube settings. There is no option to reduce this to just Horizontal or Vertical though.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
