Inpainting brush tool not resizing

Since today the inpainting brush tool is not working. When i resize it it shows as a vertical line and not a circle. I have uninstalled Affinity photo2 and reinstalled but not change.

Hi @FerSa,

The problem could relate to an issue with the brush that you currently have selected in the brushes panel, with the inpainting brush selected could you try changing over to the 'Basic' brush category, selecting a default/standard brush and try again?

@FerSa, looking at your attached doc, it seems the brush settings were changed to a linear brush. This could be like NathanC states, the specific brush being used, and just selecting another brush will correct it.

I've attached a short screen video showing how this linear brush setting can be changed back to a round brush.

@FerSa Just an aside, but please just attach an image file, don't insert it in a Word doc. There's no point in doing it that way, and it makes it more difficult to view it! 😉
