johnyoungphotos Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 I know this is going to be a daft question but I cannot seem to find a way to create a preset document. In other versions I would just set up the page dimensions and then save or create a preset from that but I cannot see how to in Version 2 ?? Quote
PaulEC Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Once you set up the document a small square with a plus sign will appear at the top of the "new" dialogue. Click on that to save as a new preset. johnyoungphotos 1 Quote Acer XC-895 : Windows 11 Home : Core i5-10400 Hexa-core 2.90 GHz : 32GB RAM : Intel UHD Graphics 630 – Affinity Publisher 2 : Affinity Photo 2 : Affinity Designer 2 : (latest release versions) – Also all apps on 12.9" (Second Generation) iPad Pro, OS Version 17.7.5 Old Lenovo laptop : Windows 10 - v1 and latest beta versions of all Affinity apps – Ancient Toshiba laptop: Vista - PagePlus X9, DrawPlus X8, PhotoPlus X8 etc
johnyoungphotos Posted April 4, 2023 Author Posted April 4, 2023 Thank you I did not see that - so is there a way to save a document you have open as a preset ? Quote
Hilltop Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 After you saved your new preset, click 'Create' at the bottom of the 'new' dialog. With the new document created, you can now save it as a regular Affinity document. johnyoungphotos 1 Quote
johnyoungphotos Posted April 4, 2023 Author Posted April 4, 2023 Thank you but that still doesn't answer if I can create a preset from a previous document I have open. I have a T-Shirt design that I use often and I used to have it as a preset. When I installed Ver 2 of designer that seems to have gone but I still have the old T-Shirt designs so I thought no problem I will open one and then save that as a preset for future use but I cannot see how to Quote
