Importing Photos and Building Layers

Recommended Posts

I am new to Affinity and the use of photo shop applications.  This may be naive, however while this may be straight forward, I can't seem to resolve it.   I am working on a Mac Powerbook.  I am working on a project where I want to layer three photos - all taken from the same pov, but at different times* - in Affinity Photo 2.  I can drag one photo into the app, make one layer.  However when I try to import a second photo, it appears only as a thumbnail size.  How do I incorporate all three photos as layers.  The top two layer will be transparent

Hi Richard,

To add your secondary image please use File > Place then select the images you want to import and click the canvas to place them. This should import them at true size.

Thanks

Alternatively, assuming all 3 images are the same size, use File > New Stack then ungroup the stack

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
