Unable to remove redundant long path names for Photoshop Plugins as Delete button gets scrolled off screen

Recommended Posts

My old path names for Photoshop Plugins were very long. I have successfully installed them from new shorter paths BUT I am now unable to remove the old long path names from the search paths in Settings as the Delete button is scrolled off the screen due to the long path name.

Try this

Select the first path name you want to delete
Hit the "Tab" key and the button "Add" should get highlighted
Tab again and the button "Remove/Delete" should be highlighted (but you won't see it, because it is off screen)
Hit the "Enter" key to delete that path

If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Hi @JayR,

Thanks for your report!

I can confirm I've been able to replicate this issue here and I will be logging this with our developers now - for any other users experiencing this in the meantime you can either use the above suggestion from Carl, or you can use the left/right arrow keys to scroll this dialog screen, allowing the Remove icon to be shown:

I hope this helps :)

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!

The issue "Long Plugin file paths cause the Add / Remove icons to be out of view" (REF: AFP-6094) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
