davidagnome Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 It's awesome to automatically flow content to the next column, frame, even/odd page, etc. Can Serif add column span (esp. a span all columns on a page) to Affinity Publisher? This would help improve layouts with sophisticated headers. TomJr and District Design 2 Quote

davidagnome Posted August 21, 2023 Author Posted August 21, 2023 Yes please. Span and split columns, overriding the parent columns. Manually placing them is so 1990s. TomJr 1 Quote
Petar Petrenko Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 There are about 2.5 years since version 2.0. I hope v. 2.5 will be last of it. I am waiting 3.0 very soon with these features in Publisher: Acrobat's Print Production tools; span/split columns; mulipage tables span; table notes; GREP styles; decorations from paragraph styles to be added to character styles; cleaning the mess of applying colors to objects (you have to open other panels to apply colors to objects instead from swatches panel only); more IDML features; converting text => table and vice versa; object styles (like InDesign).
