RM f/g Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 A document has headings which consists of a chapter number and text, both are placed in two separate, linked text frames. Number and text are in the same paragraph with a regular space between them. In the table of contents of a book a heading like this results in two entries, the first including the number, the second without it. I reported something like this some years ago: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/117152-double-entry-in-toc/ It was solved then and it’s still is ok for a table of contents in a single document. toc+split heading.zip Quote Macbook Pro mid 2015, 16 GB, double barrel: MacOS Mojave + Affinity 1 (+ Adobe’s CS6)/ MacOS Monterey + Affinity 2
Staff Callum Posted April 3, 2023 Staff Posted April 3, 2023 Hi RM f/g, I am currently investigating this with a member of our QA team but we are running into a separate bug that is preventing us from investigating this fully right now. Unfortunately until this bug is solved it will be difficult to investigate this further however I have made a note to ensure this gets investigated once we receive word the bug is solved. In the meantime I'd recommend deleting the extra entries manually as you have done in the past, I apologise for any inconvenience this causes you. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
RM f/g Posted April 3, 2023 Author Posted April 3, 2023 Hi @Callum Thanks for looking into this. This is only inconvenient. I'm sure there are more important issues to solve. First things first.
