I noticed a small inconvenience with sidenotes: when there’s an element with text wrap applied extending over the sidenote, it makes the sidenote move upwards to the wrapped element.
With the text wrap limited to the width of the text column, the sidenote is in the expected position: next to the note reference.

The screenshots should illustrate what I mean.
