KipV
The feature is working fine in Designer so it seems to be specific to Photo. This is my first time posting for a beta (at least in version 2.x) and when I checked it didn't seem like anyone else posted this bug. I hope I didn't that right. Staff Sean P Posted March 31, 2023 Staff Share Posted March 31, 2023 Hi KipV, Deselect (Cmd/Ctrl+D) in Photo is for deselecting a pixel marquee selection, where as in Designer it is for Deselecting a layer. This behaviour is intentional due to the different intended uses for the applications. There is an option on the Select menu in Photo called 'Deselect Layers' which should be the same as Designer's Deselect.
KipV
Okay I see, I might set up that function with a custom shortcut as it is one that I get into the habit of using in Designer.
