Geminitiger
How are most people finding raw conversion of fuji files compared to say lightroom,im very happy so far?
MikaG
While Fuji's RAW-files render strangely in Adobe Camera Raw, I find Affinity Photo rather poor, where RAW-conversion is concerned. Reason being, highlight recovery and lifting shadows is rather poor compared to the rest of the bunch. I read somewhere, that one could change the conversion engine in AP, but personally I have never tried, because Capture One leaves nothing to be desired, IMO. Staff MEB Posted February 25, 2016 Staff Share Posted February 25, 2016 Hi Geminitiger, As MikaG pointed out you can change the RAW engine to Apple (Core Image RAW) going to menu View ▸ Assistant Manager... (it's the first dropdown on that dialog). You must reload the image for the new setting take effect. Also what is your opinion re the 2 different processing engines? thanks
