New to this forum reporting so I’ll apologise in advance if I’m doing it wrong.

AD not allowing some system installed fonts to be used. (I used ifont in particular) and installed fonts showing with Red Error on font name.

Some fonts either do or do not work but have Asian name showing in the UI.

Bebas Neue font doesn’t show in program at all, installed on system or directly in app.

Reported upon launch, still seems to be present in Beta.

@LByers

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums :)

Sorry for the problems you are seeing. Regarding the font showing up with a Chinese name. We have changed some code regarding this in the new 2.1.0.1736 beta build released this afternoon. Are you using that new 1736 build and are you still seeing the problems in your screenshot? Does it happen in new documents and existing documents?

Regarding the Alex Brush Regular font: Where did you download this font from?

When I download it from Google using iFont it works fine on my iPad.

Did you create this document on your iPad, or did you create it on some other system? If it was created elsewhere, was the font that was used kdownloaded from the same location you downloaded from?

Can you share a sample .afdesign file here that shows the error with Alex Brush Regular?

@Patrick ConnorI haven’t tried todays beta so I will try that and I’ll experiment between existing and new docs.

@walt.farrellI downloaded the fonts in ifont and installed using their “new method” from google fonts without the configuration.

Unless I install the fonts directly inside the Affinity app, I seem to be having some sort of issue.
Ideally I want fonts installed in the system so they work across all 3 iPad apps.

Thanks. When I did that it still went through the configuration route. So you might check again in iFont that it thinks they're installed.
