Serif PagePlus files not opening in Publisher 2

I have been working with PagePlus software for a few years now. I recently upgraded to windows 11 and discovered that PagePlus was not compatable. I purchased Affinity Publisher 2 but cannot open the Serif files .ppp. Please can you help? Thank you Ann

Affinity Publisher can't open ppp files natively. The best way is to export the files with PagePlus as PDF.

I have done this, and now I have the situation where every line on a page is in its own text frame.

Is there a way to combine all those single line text frames into one text frame per page?

The only way I have found is to select the paragraph, right click, and select group. This is course means going through all 155 pages and grouping each an every paragraph.

Just wondering if there is another way.

If you haven't already, check Group lines of text into text frames in the PDF Options window when opening your PDF and see if that works...
