iammikechiang
In Photoshop we can use eyedropper tool to get the corresponding hexadecimal code for a color. How do we do this in Affinity Photo?
Asha
Here are two ways I know of: If you area already painting with the paintbrush tool, hold down the Option key. The cursor will change, and you will be able to pick up a color while the Option key is pressed. The color swatch will change to the selected color. In the Colour panel, drag the eyedropper icon to your canvas and release when you find the color you want. Click the eydropper swatch. The color swatch will change to the selected color. R C-R
If you just want to know the RGB hex code for a pixel under the pointer, the Info panel can show you that. It defaults to showing the RGB decimal & CMYK values but if you click on the half circle icon of either of them, you can choose to change what it samples. One of the options is RGB Hex. You can also click & drag the sampler's crosshair icon into the workspace, which turns into a magnifier. If you drop it somewhere in the workspace, it stays there & "freezes" the sampler's values in the info window.
