zantafio Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 A MidJourneyy a prompt with a few checkbox and drop down lists for the different lighting effects and rendering styles Quote
mikeshelk Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 A month ago Midjourney introduced a new feature called "Vary (Region)". It allows to change a region of an image. Basically, it is very similar to the "Generative fill" of Photoshop. I think it would be great if Serif collaborates with Midjourney to make a plugin for Affinity Photo which uses the engine of Midjourney remotely for this feature. This will allow Affinity Photo to compete with Photoshop. This plugin may require a Midjourney subscription. Quote
Komatös Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 How much are you willing to pay for the plugin, in addition to the purchase price of the suite? And then there is the developer of MidJourney, who will also market his services monetarily. Are you ready for a subscription? The basic peculiarity of all plugins, however, is that they do not support the non-destructive way of working of the Affinity programs. That destroys the concept of Affinity programs! mikeshelk Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 I think, this plugin should be included in Affinity Photo at no additional cost. However, to use the plugin one should have a subscription to Midjourney. Both Midjourney and Serif would benefit from the existence of this plugin. Quote
