opening non connected network

I had a document opened that was on a server, I have tried opening Affinity with holding control  key and clearing all preferences and documents but it still tries to connect to the server and won't start up any other suggestions, I tried to reinstall but that clearly didn't get rid of the cached document and still tries to connect.

Would it be possible to show what's happening when you launch the software so I can see where it's failing/what it's displaying?
