Rick G
I used to be able to do this in Photo. I could type a couple of words separated by a carriage return Then shrink the space between them until they touch (or even overlap) The settings may have moved or perhaps I forgot something but I am SURE I used to be able to do this in the paragraph settings Quote Affinity Designer 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.0.2114 Affinity Photo 2.2.2075 beta 2.3.0.2114Affinity Publisher 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.0.2114 Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 OS build 22621.1928 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
walt.farrell
Your red arrow confuses me. I think you're saying you want to reduce the spacing between the lines (Leading). The red arrow seems to indicate you want to reduce the space between the letters (tracking). Tracking would be in the Character panel. Leading is in the Paragraph panel, but can be overridden with Leading Override in the Character panel. If you're adjusting Leading in the Paragraph panel in Photo and it's not helping, then (I think) that one of these is most likely: You have a Learding Override set in the Character panel; or The document has a Baseline Grid set by Publisher. Rick G
I need to reduce the space between the paragraphs. My graphic has a carriage return therefore you are looking at 2 paragraphs And I want to squeeze them .. vertically Thanks Quote Affinity Designer 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.0.2114 Affinity Photo 2.2.2075 beta 2.3.0.2114Affinity Publisher 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.0.2114 Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 OS build 22621.1928 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

As they are separate paragraphs it is more likely that you need to adjust the Space After setting for the first paragraph, also in the Paragraph panel. This defaults to 12 pt, and I think you want to decrease it.
