In the attached file I want to change the pressure that is 90º from where it appears in the horizontal object. Why does the pressure position not change if I rotate the object 90º as in the vertical object?

The start and end nodes are still at what was the right-hand (rounded) end of the shape, now moved to the top. To fix it, ‘Convert to Curves’ the rotated shape, add a node halfway down the right-hand side, break the curve at that point and (optionally) re-close the curve.

Hi Alfred. I have just found you're explanation to the Pressure problem and thanks for that.

What you saying is if this happens again, as it has happened with ellipses, I need to create a new node halfway along the shape after converting to a curve then rotate it.

Is the start and end node always red?

End is Red. Check with an open path/curve/stroke.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

What I’m saying is that you need to force a change of start and end points by breaking the curve at a new node. If you create a new node without also breaking the curve, the pressure profile will remain the same when you rotate the object.
