tymcat Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 I cannot remember it to happen before – I have a strange occurrency when masking or cropping an object, my eraser doesn't remove or cover the image completely, an about 5% shade remains and I have to erase respectively cover every bit twice. You can see it on the HEMI - I tried to remove the mask and had to erase twice. I checked color, intensity 100% Flow 100%, the brush is a default one... no idea what could be the culprit. No transparency involved. It makes work so much more complicated. Any idea? Quote

Just to be clear: you have the Paint Brush Tool selected, not the Eraser. I presume you are painting with White? What Brush did you choose in the Brushes panel? With only the partial screenshot, rather than the complete application window, there is information in the Context Toolbar we cannot see. (Of course, depending on your monitor setup, we might not be able to see it anyway, but in general full application window screenshots are more useful, in my opinion.) But in particular, do you have Wet Edges enabled in the Context Toolbar? (It may be hidden off the right end behind the >> icon.) natecombsmedia Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Thank you for this! I had the same thing happen suddenly and went into the brush settings. Wet edges was off, but when I looked on the toolbar above, it was on. Strange! With it off, everything is back to normal. Quote

Was it set "off", or was it "don't set"? "Don't set" means don't turn it on and don't turn it off, just leave it alone.
