There is a known problem in V2 with having multiple RAW images opened and being developed at the same time, on Windows. It is fixed in the 2.1 beta.

when will the official update come for everyone?

No one knows. Or, perhaps, those who know won't say.

Generally the answer is "when it's ready". They've stopped adding new features now, so they can focus on bug fixes, but it could be a few weeks, still.

You can join the beta if you want, but you probably shouldn't use it for Production work. And any .afphoto (or other native) files you Save using 2.1 can't be used in 2.0.

It should have been better to fix all the bugs before adding new items.

But sometimes there are new bugs in the new items! 😄

Acer XC-895 : Windows 11 Home Core i5-10400 Hexa-core 2.90 GHz :  32GB RAM : Intel UHD Graphics 630 –
Affinity Publisher 2 : Affinity Photo 2 : Affinity Designer 2 : (latest release versions) – Also all apps on 12.9" (Second Generation) iPad Pro, OS Version 17.7.5
Old Lenovo laptop : Windows 10 - v1 and latest beta versions of all Affinity apps – Ancient Toshiba laptop: Vista - PagePlus X9, DrawPlus X8, PhotoPlus X8 etc

If you make software to sell, you have to make sure it works perfectly.  (so without bugs) Then you can make things to add.  Don't create new items first and then fix the many bugs.  I understand that there are still the same bugs that have not yet been resolved in V1.

That's how I feel about it
