The Desktop versions should offer, depending on the printer & printer driver. - Other than that, there are some PDF tools which offer to do so for huger PDF poster/banner files etc. https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/print-posters-banners-acrobat-reader.html PDF to Large Print via Tiling ...etc. Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
carl123 Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 Just a guess but... Can you use the Slice Tool in the export persona to create 12 slices then open & print each slice separately? I don't have an iPad DM1 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Mainecoon364 Posted March 24, 2023 Author Posted March 24, 2023 I’d better; a) export It as PDF and look for a pdf editor To do it. b) or do it on inkscape. I bought Ipad versions. Do I have to buy PC versions of Affinity as well? Quote

Yes, unless you purchased the universal license which covers all platforms. Creating a large canvas on iPad (210x4)x(297x3) then setting guides at 4 rows and 3 columns with zero gutters/margins should work. Draw your pattern, then in Export persona create 12 A4 slices around the guides. You can print slices individually. Here’s an example with 12 A4 panels and slices. 4x3 A4 pattern canvas.afdesign Alfred 1 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). And that's likely the problem, as the iPad provides only generic Mac Air Print drivers, as far as I can see, rather than printer-specific drivers. So even if the printer supports Tiling, I don't think Air Print will allow it.
