Crop applied in Develop Persona intermittently undone after hitting Develop button

I edit a lot of raw photos from my iPhone 14 Pro Max, (.dng format) and about every 3-5 photos I crop in the Develop Persona revert back to their uncropped state after hitting the Develop Button. This is particularly annoying as it adds quite a bit of time to my workflow since I usually go through quite a few raw photos in each of my editing sessions.
