PaoloT Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Hi, I don't know if this is a nuance that is only disturbing me, but – why using "stroke" instead of "line"? I feel very uncomfortable each time I read it. (Going to pet my black cat…) Paolo Quote

I feel very uncomfortable each time I read it. (Going to pet my black cat…) There's a difference between stroke and line. Two vertices (nodes) are connected by a path (line or curve). The path can have a stroke on the inside, outside, or on its middle. The stroke is the visible thing you see on the screen but the line is what connects the vertices. Apps have been using the term stroke since there were apps. But really it's all about stroking cats. 🙂 PaoloT 1 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.6 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.6 for macOS Sequoia 15.3, MacBook Pro (M4 Pro) and iPad Air (M2)
