Lannoy Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 When I type some copy over a coloured box or pictures the type shows up with white panels. I thought this was only visible on screen but when I print the page, the white 'panels' are still there Can anyone tell me how I'm going wrong? I attach a PDF to illustrate what I'm getting. walt.farrell Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Possibly it's a text background set via the Character panel. I can't show a screenshot from a desktop version right now; sorry. I'm on my iPad and not near either of the desktop machines. But you should find color settings for the font fill, and stroke, and background. Old Bruce Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 I have to agree with Walt. Here is the Character panel with some Red and some Clear background for the Characters. Text Caret is in top line. Cartet i is in bottom line. walt.farrell and Lannoy 1 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have no idea how this was turned on! Quote
