I’m using Publisher 2 on macOS and am a new user.

I’ve added my brand colours to the document swatches using hex values and the thumbnails show the colours as expected (see image with the dark blue highlighted, this is #0C4F6E)

But when I select an element such as text or a shape and apply the colour swatch I end up with a different shade applied  (see second image with the same colour selected but it appears lighter).

I’ve checked that colour settings are set to sRGB and all the images/photos I’ve added to the document look as expected. It’s just the colours used for text and shape tools that looks washed out.

I’ve checked the opacity of the relevant layers, all are 100%. I’ve tried a new document and that behaves the same way which makes me think it’s a global setting I’m missing.

Thanks for your help

(I’m creating a pdf for online download and not a document to print)

Hi @Isabel81 and welcome to the forums...

I think you may have the Colour Format in your Document Setup set to RGB/32 (HDR) instead of RGB/8. If that is the case you need to change it to RGB/8 and then your brand colours should appear correctly...
