Lost ability to rotate canvas and Layer in 2.1 Beta

I can no longer rotate my image with either command key and scrolling the mouse or with command and scrolling with tablet in Beta 2.1.0.1370

This function is now turned off by default, but it can be enabled via Settings > Tools:

I appologize for butting into this thread....

What about adding a feature to rotate the canvas/document by numbers giving a higher flexible way to rotate? I find the rotate by scroll wheel confusing as I have it happened a few times without wanting to do so.
As currently we just have rotate 90 anti and clockwise. Having more flexibilty through the Document menu above or below the current rotate 90 would be helpful.

Having to use a keyboard key and the wheel is not efficient, when I draw with my graphics tablet in Photo, it would be more efficient to be able to rotate the canvas with a key or a key combination (R for Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint).

If you go to Settings > Shortcuts, then select View from the dropdown menu, you can set a Keyboard shortcut for Rotate Left and Rotate Right, this will rotate the canvas at 15 degree increments.

Thank you for taking the time to answer, it's a solution I had already tried, but it's not very practical either, when doing an illustration the need to easily rotate the canvas is essential, and the only way is to have an effective rotation tool, as there is in all software of its kind on the market.
