Maybe already known? Everything over 400 being typed into the DPI field at Document Setup jumps back to 400, same behaviour in v2 retail. Windows 10.

Is this in all three apps on iPad... if you happen to run the same apps on Desktop do you see the same thing?

This sounds as though it 'may' be iPad specific, assuming @joe_l is also seeing this on iPad rather than desktop...

Strange... does the same happen both when creating a new document and after having created the document but then going to Document Setup with a view to changing it there after the document has been created...

It makes no difference, new or existing document.

Definitely sounds like a bug in that case affecting both Windows and iPad but strangely not Mac...

I'm doing this and it's fine:

  1. New doc dialog
  2. Type in a value of say 666 into DPI field
  3. Hit either Create or Tab (then Create)
  4. Document > Resize
  5. Observe Document says DPI is 666
  6. File > New
  7. Observe DPI has correctly reverted back to 72 dpi as it defaults back to a Web preset for me

Are you saying as soon as you type, it changes back straight away? Can you record this please?

Of course. In the meantime try yourself. After you created your document with 666 DPI, change it to 1200 DPI afterwards. Sorry for not being precise enough in my first post.
