sunflowerDaydream Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Both the Artistic text tool and the Frame text tool are filling with a colored background (behind the text in the frame) when I go to use it. I first noticed this issue in V1 so I opened my project up in V2 (I'm still using both) and V2 had the same issue as well. I checked the text character panel to see if the text was being highlighted somehow and that wasn't the case. I'm going mad trying to figure out how to get it to go away! Please help! Quote
Komatös Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 (edited) Hi @sunflowerDaydream Open the character panel (ctrl + t) there you can find the backround color. walt.farrell Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 You should be able to draw a Text Frame with the Frame Text Tool, then use Edit > Defaults > Revert, possibly followed by Edit > Defaults > Save. That background color would only affect the letters themselves, not an entire Text Frame. I'm not sure (without experimenting) whether your suggestion would work for the Artistic Text, as I think there is a difference between the two settings in that case.
