Chris Sutton Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 Attempted to place a pdf document into a new publisher document and nothing appeared. Repeated several times with the same document. Tried with a different pdf. Same result. Quote

Chris Sutton Posted March 19, 2023 Author Posted March 19, 2023 Laptop with attached large external screen only: MacBook Pro with Mac OS Big Sur latest update. 11.7.4. Latest release of the Beta version. 2.1.0.1730 I tried to Place the .pdf document through the Place... item on the File menu. Tried to drag it, nothing happened, tried to select from the menu, nothing happened, I had enough linked pages to take the full file. I've done this many, many times in the production Version 2 with no issues. Quote
carl123 Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 If you could upload one of the .pdf files to the forum, we could check if it's the .pdf at fault or something else Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. carl123 Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Hi Chris The .pdf file works fine here in V2 and the latest V2 beta I am on Window so not quite sure what to suggest on a Mac But I would check (switch on) both screens you have (Laptop & external) as sometimes things happen on them without people noticing Chris B 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Staff Chris B Posted March 20, 2023 Staff Posted March 20, 2023 Works fine on my MacBook Pro without any additional screens attached. I suspect carl123 is onto something here. Try disconnecting the screen as well. Could you provide a screen recording of the process? Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
