jayjbn
Hello, I am using Affinity designer V2 and I import some PSD mockups to be used with my designs. It seems to work pretty well with the smart objects and perspective. For some, it requires minor adjustments to make it work but for some other I have remaining issue I am trying to solve. Would it be possible to get some support ? Attaching one example where you can see the original mockup and the issue when opening with designer + layers details. Thanks in advance,

jayjbn
Thank you for your reply, I have done it, the layers Project that your see in the list are smart objects where I added my own logo but you still see the darker part on the left. Identify which layer adds this there and then hide or remove that layer. You can also replace that layer with your own setup shadowing/highlights instead. jayjbn
Thanks for the advice, I tried to hide every layer, once at the time. The only way to solve this is to hide or remove the smart object layer but there is no effect associated to it.
Staff stokerg Posted March 20, 2023 Staff Share Posted March 20, 2023 Hi @jayjbn, Can you upload the .afdesign file to our Dropbox here and I'll see if can work out a way to keep the smart objects in place. It's possible we aren't doing a good job of importing them which leads to this.
jayjbn
Thanks @stokerg for your feedback, I have added the file on the dropbox link. I think I found the solution by removing the highlight and glass that were embedded in the smart object in the mockup layer. I assume they should be in the smart object that is outside of the mockup layer.
