St3pH Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 Hi, I have installed ON1 NoNoise plugin in affinity photo 2 on mac. I can see it from the filters menu but I can’t select it (it’s grey). Anyone knows why? Quote
firstdefence Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 Welcome to the forum @St3pH You need to select a pixel layer, if the image you have was placed or imported it will likely be an Image layer, Right click on the image layer and select Rasterise., you should now be able to use the ON1 Noise plugin. St3pH Posted March 19, 2023 Author Posted March 19, 2023 Thank you firstdefence, it worked! I duplicated my first layer, rasterise it and the plugin became available! I’m new to photo editing, sometimes it gets confusing! Thanks for the help! firstdefence 1 Quote

IRO Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 I installed the ON1 NoNoise AI 2024 as a plugin for Affinity Photo 2.5.3 in a Windows 10 OS, but when I try to use it on an open image in Affinity Photo the NoNoise window appears and then just vanishes! I have tried the above, but that does not change this behaviour. The word 'Plugin' appears in the History panel, which is even more confusing. Is this an Affinity problem or an ON1 problem? Quote
Dave.Kelly Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 If you are going to use NoNoiseAI it works best on a raw file so do that first from the stand alone app and see if you can use a send to from a drop down menu. If not then it will save as a dng file which Affinity should be able to use. Quote
