Hi,

I'm new to the forum, so first of all I'd like to apologize for any shortcomings and mistakes I've made while writing this post.

I just installed Affinity Photo V2 on my laptop with Windows 11. I already downloaded and installed patch to version 2.04. And I have a problem with the application:
Each time I launch the Affinity Photo, my laptop automatically disconnect wifi on 5GHz channel (2.4GHz remains on) and it's not avaliable to connect, until I switch off the network card - then I can reconnect.
But when Affinity remains started my wifi card works 'strangely' - sometimes it's broke connections, sometimes it doesn't see te network from router (sometimes at 2.4GHz channel, sometimes at 5GHz channel, sometimes both...) .... it's irritating.
Does anyone had such a problem ? How to solve that ?

Hi Rafal17,

There's no link to our software and your laptops WiFi hardware/networks.

Perhaps your laptop has a battery saving mode that is disabling this.

Hi LeeThorpe,

Thank You for your answer, but I'm afraid that it's not the thing - I didn't notice any decrease of efficiency.

But today I noticed something else - when I connect to wifi by channel 2.4GHz, or when I restart the network card and connect to 5GHz channel, the connection speed is very low.... so, maybe Affinity is downloading some updates or something 🤔 ?
