After a crash while making an asset with paper textures I had, Photo V2 update crashed. After restarting the program the assets I had don't load anymore. Those I bought in the store neither.

I removed the program and installed it again, but the problem stayed.

What can I do to solve the problem.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @JanFlits.

Steps to fix this occurrence of the problem:

  1. Make sure none of the V2 Affinity applications are running.
  2. Press and hold Ctrl while starting Photo 2. Do not release Ctrl until instructed later.
  3. Wait for the Clear User Data dialog to display. You may need to watch for the Photo 2 icon on the Windows task bar, and click it before you get that dialog.
  4. Release the Ctrl key.
  5. Uncheck the first 3 options in the list. Check Reset Assets. This will clear the Assets for all 3 applications (or as many as you have installed).
  6. Click the Reset or Clear button (I forget how it's labeled).

After that, you should be able to install your Assets again.

Note: Assets from the Store can be automatically reinstalled via the application's Account function. Any that you have created or installed yourself will need to be reinstalled from their original .afassets files, or from backup .afassets files you have created by exporting from the Assets panel.
