MickRose Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 If nothing is selected then: Layer, Show All works okay. But if a single object is selected first, then Layer, Show All simple deselects that object and it doesn't show any hidden layers. Quote Windows 10 Pro, I5 3.3G PC 16G RAM
Staff Callum Posted March 17, 2023 Staff Posted March 17, 2023 Hi Mick, This is because when you have a layer selected Layer > Show All is trying to unhide any child layers of that layer and not all layers within your document. For now I would just recommend making sure you deselect any layers prior to using Layer > Show All. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
MickRose Posted March 17, 2023 Author Posted March 17, 2023 Hi Callum - thanks for the explanation. I've always found the naming of objects as Layers a bit confusing, particularly when an object can either be contained within a Layer or be the actual layer itself.
