Polly55 Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Creating a watermark in Photo is very awkward. This is something I use a lot and would imagine most photographers use at some time. It could be made as a separate menu option with the ability to have several set up and which can be chosen to suit the need. Quick and easy editing is essential. Quote
carl123 Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Why not just save your watermarks as assets? Then drag and drop them on the image as required Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
Polly55 Posted March 17, 2023 Author Posted March 17, 2023 Would that allow you to easily edit them as well? I've used many programs where it's really easy to set them up, edit and use them all within the apps with very simple forms Quote
Hangman Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Hi @Polly55, and welcome to the forums... Photo doesn't currently have a watermark tool like Capture One though it would certainly be a good feature request... Currently @carl123's suggestion would work well and allow you to edit the watermark if needed but equally you could just create a number of different versions of your watermark already appropriately sized and with opacity applied if required and store them as named assets then all you need to do is drag and drop the relevant watermark onto the canvas, position it and you're good to go...
