Images/documents fail to show as embeded in Designer

This does not work consistently. Tried to embed image, photoshop, svg in Designer, but does not register as embedded. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

Thanks for your report!

Just to confirm, are you placing an embedded file in Designer that does not render on the canvas, or are you seeing this placed as a linked file?

The more information you can provide here, the easier it will be for our team to investigate further

On the canvas. Fie attached. I had to do this first in AD v1 on MacOs, then import into v2 on iPAD. I suggest you replace block.psd with another file and see if this works.

Thanks for providing that for me - this appears to be a v2.1 beta file, is that correct?

I have replaced this resource with an .afdesign, .afphoto, .Ai, .ORF (raw) and images from my Apple Photos library, all of which were replaced and rendered as expected.

Are you able to provide a screen recording of this issue please?

Sorry, tried to reproduce this and failed. A point to note: block.psd was placed from another computer on my network. I'll keep trying and if fails will record.
