When exporting form Publisher to PDF, a problem occurs with the number 8 and letter B, when using a outline in text stylers (fonts color & decorations).
The 8 and B inner outlines 'collapse' and becomes a fill.
Problem doesn't happen with g, 9, a ect, only wit the 8 and B (2 holes).
Problem doesn't happen when I do not use a outline.

Exporting with embedded fonts or text as curves doesn't make a different.

What font are you using, and if it's one you installed which version and where did you obtain it?

thanks for asking Walt,

it's the Monotype  - TradeGothicNextLTPro-Bd.otf, Version 2.00, obtain @ MyFonts in a Linotype The Foundation Collection.

I check the font @ Myfonts and the latest version is still 2.00

I just installed that font, set up a decoration and it exported to PDF fine.  Could you attach your .afpub file, as i suspect my decoration isn't set the same as yours so that could be why i can't replicate it.

I did some tests and I think it has to do with the outline thickness of 0,1 pt.
If I change that to 0,5 pt the problem is over it seems.

Still no solution for me as the Publisher documents are created at @ 10% of the print production (which I normally do for big wall prints in exhibitions).

But the outline thickness requires at least 0,5 pt it seems on this test
