Hi @Dan C,
I have the same problem but reinstalling whole OS and many other software, all the accounts etc seems like a big pain. I'd much prefer to just go for a lower version which was working for me. This doesn't seem like an option though. Is there any way to downgrade to the previous version 2x?

Edit, after a few attempts it finally loads but is unbearably slow. I am thinking going back to latest V1 if V2 won't work :(

Can you please confirm for me, what version of Affinity Designer are you currently using, and do you recall the previous version that was installed before this update?

I'm sorry to hear this - are you referring to the app itself opening slowly, or does the app open as usual, but editing your documents within the app is more delayed than you'd expect? The more information you can provide here, the easier it will be to assist.
