Had several times the problem that all my installed assets suddenly vanished. Similar case with the brushes. Whats wrong? Is it possible to load from part of library?

Hi @marno2013,

Assets and brushes are stored in separate local .PROPCOL files on your device, unfortunately if your assets and brush panels are suddenly blank with no selectable options from the dropdowns then it's likely that your brushes/assets.propcol files have become corrupted and will need to be reset to default via a CTRL runup and then re-imported. In order to reset your brushes/assets to default try following the below:

  1. Close down all Affinity Apps
  2. Hold down CTRL and launch Designer 2 whilst holding CTRL
  3. This will prompt a 'Clear user data' menu, tick 'Reset Brushes' and 'Reset Assets' and then press 'Clear'
  4. The app will now launch, check that both panels have been reset to default, if you have the custom asset/brush files they can be re-imported now.
