For those of you who may also be interested in this I have attached a file showing how I go about setting up 3 point perspective axes and measuring method. It may look complicated but I can assure you it isn't - its pretty basic stuff! If anyone is interested I would be happy to elaborate further with anyone either on the forum or privately.
