designer v2 win 10 16g gets lost and never recovers till it stops responding altogether

reading others posts here it looks like it may be the zoom, and not the selection which i thought it was.

select the object zoom in, and erase, the selection is lost.  zoom out click select icon and it shows as being selected, zoom in and try to erase, and nada, over and over but about the 3rd time in it crashes.  gets lost in never never land. its crap and should never have been made public till it was fixed!  im guessing the coders cant find it. so they just let it go.  

sorry but im frustrated with purchasing a product that is so buggy. over and over and over.

I just closed the app and opened it and cant even get it to let me use the delete i the selection even one time now.  This is completely useless software!  Make a selection, using either the selection icon or just click on it in the layers, now click the eraser, and zoom in, and you have lost the entire selection! if you keep trying to zoom out select zoom back in then the dumb thing stops responding.  I mean really.  This is so wrong.

 I see that the betas dont port over any of the other additions? when will this be added.  Can i just install the beta in a different directory?
