Kmau
Can I install Portrait Pro as one of the plugins in Affinity Photo?
Staff Leigh Posted February 22, 2016 Staff Share Posted February 22, 2016 Yea, the following steps should work: 1. Open Portrait Pro and go to Preferences > Plugin 2. Click Run Plug-in Installer 3. Un-tick options for Adobe PS and PS Elements and click Choose Install Path Manually 4. Select a folder location and click open 5. Once installed, open Affinity Photo and go to Preferences > Plugins 6. Click Add under Plugin search folders and add the location where you installed the plugin above 7. Click Authorise Global under Plugin Support Folders 8. Click Close - the app will now restart 9. Go back to Preferences > Plugins - the plugin should now be listed. 10. Click Allow "unknown" Plugins and then close The plugin should now work from Filters > Plugins :) João Vítor Martins

fde101
Portrait Pro seems to be working; however the related Portrait Pro Body and Landscape Pro plugins (which can be purchased in a bundle with Portrait Pro) cause Affinity Photo to crash when trying to launch them. Mac OS X Versions: Affinity Photo 1.5.1 Portrait Pro Studio 15.7 64-bit (works) Portrait Pro Body Studio 1.3.3 64-bit (crashes) Landscape Pro Studio 1.4.4 64-bit (crashes)
Staff Leigh Posted January 27, 2017 Staff Share Posted January 27, 2017 Thanks for this information. The trial version of Portrait Pro Body Studio doesn't seem to have the plugin so I can't test it. Photoshop Plugins support is still being worked/improved - you will find more information here.

Now that the picture is open in Affinity photo, how to I continue editing it in Portrait pro? I don't see any option when I right click on the image. Thanks. Fixx
I don't know any app which accesses plugins via RMB. Usually Filters > Plugins would be a good guess as stated above.
