What CPU and GPU do you have in your PC?

I can see you have access to the beta, if you are getting lagging in the beta of V2, please make a separate post in the Beta section of the Forums about this and the QA team will be able to look into this with you.

these are my specs: CPU: Ryzen 3 3100 / GPU: HD 7750

Unfortunately I'm currently using an old gpu, but it's a temporary solution. I've another gpu (RX 6600) but for some reasons I can't use it now. Is the problem related to gpu performance? Because yes, I'm also trying the Beta and it's better (but not quite). I also noticed that if I decrease the brush size, the lag disappears.

My biggest problem, however, remains the lag with the selection of objects (especially the curves) which doesn't affect the V1. But I will write about this in another topic.

I have to concur with the OP, the brush tool is back to an old performance in V1 a few years back.

The brush tool, even at small sizes just doesn't like multiple quick strokes or large size brush strokes.

It also has returned to an old behavior that happened in V1 where when using the brush, selections being made like moving in and out of layers within the layer studio, just don't work. You have to click out of the program and return to regain the function of selecting. 

I'm on a Windows 10, AMD Threadripper, RTX 2080 Super and a Wacom 16 pro
