EXIF Data not updated in UI by macro

Hi. I've just created a simple macro to update the camera and maker EXIF data and find that running the macro doesn't update the EXIF data in the UI until the image is closed and re-opened.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a macro to update the camera and maker EXIF data (hard coded)
  2. Open a TIF image
  3. Run the new macro
  4. The UI doesn't update to reflect the change
  5. Save the image
  6. Close the image and re-open
  7. Changes are now visible

Affinity Photo 2.0.4
MacOS Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68)
MacBook Pro M2

Thanks

I believe this is working as expected, the EXIF data will only be read on opening the file and written back to the file on save/exit. So once the image is opened again the new information from the EXIF is displayed.

In the 2.1 beta, if you close and reopen the Metadata panel the change will be there. Or even simpler, if you switch to a different tab in that studio set and switch back to Metadata it will be there. So it simply seems to be that the UI isn't updating when the macro completes, but only after some kind of a refresh.
