When working with files stored in Dropbox, and using an iPad you will occasionally get Feezes. Lockups. Nothing responds, you can't close your app, all you can do is restart the iPad. BIG PITB.

It's NOT Affinity. It's either Dropbox, reacting to something Apple has in the iPad, or... something Apple has in the iPad reacting to Dropbox.

Dropbox have known about this issue for at least two years. It's all over their support forums. I'm presuming Apple must also know about it.

The Dropbox fix from their support is to "delete Dropbox.app, clear cache and reinstall Dropbox app". That doesn't work. Apple have no suggestions.

The issue is very random and affects all iPad models. It does not seem to create a crash report either. Not that I can find anyway.

So when it happens to you, don't immediately Blame Affinity - as I was want to do.... It's something about Dropbox and Apple.
